Ingredients
- 1 Gallon Water
- 2/3 Cup Soy Sauce
- 3/4 Cup Salt Kosher
- 2/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
Instructions
- Heat water until slightly warm. This will help dissolve the sugar and salt.
- Pour warm water into a container that you will brine the chicken in. Add all other ingredients to water and stir, allowing salt and sugar to dissolve.
- Allow to come to room temperature.
- Place chicken in brine and refrigerate overnight for whole chicken, 2 hours for chicken breasts, and 4 hours for any pieces with bones.
- Drain before cooking and dry with a paper towel. Enjoy!
