Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Add peaches, 3/4 cup sugar, and a dash of salt to a saucepan and stir.
Cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes while sugar dissolves. Once peaches soften, remove from heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and 1/4 TSP salt.
Add in milk, but don't over mix. Stir until well combined.
Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
Pour the batter mixture over the melted butter and use a spatula to smooth it into an even layer.
Spoon peach mixture over the batter by dropping it in spoonfuls.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Enjoy!
