Sauteed Chicken with Mushrooms and Onions
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts Roughly chopped into 1 inch cubes.
- 2 TSP Paprika
- 2 TSP Garlic Powder
- 1/2 TSP Oregano
- 1/2 TSP Parsley
- 1/2 TSP Salt
- 1/4 TSP Black Pepper
- 3 TBSP Olive Oil For Frying
For Mushrooms and Onions:
- 1 Large Sweet Onion Cut in half and sliced.
- 1 Package Sliced Mushrooms 8 oz.
- 3 TBSP Butter
- 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- In a bowl, whisk together the paprika, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, black pepper, and salt.
- Sprinkle each side of chicken pieces with the spice mixture, or you can lightly press each chicken piece into the mixture.
- Cook chicken in oil, flipping halfway through. (Approximately 3-4 minutes.) Internal temp should reach 165 degrees F.
- When chicken is fully cooked, remove from pan and set aside.
- Add butter to the hot pan and cook the onions and mushrooms until the onions become translucent. Add the garlic and cook an additional minute.
- Add the chicken back to the pan and serve. Enjoy!
