Sauteed Chicken with Mushrooms and Onions

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts Roughly chopped into 1 inch cubes.
  • 2 TSP Paprika
  • 2 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 TSP Oregano
  • 1/2 TSP Parsley
  • 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 1/4 TSP Black Pepper
  • 3 TBSP Olive Oil For Frying

For Mushrooms and Onions:

  • 1 Large Sweet Onion Cut in half and sliced.
  • 1 Package Sliced Mushrooms 8 oz.
  • 3 TBSP Butter
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the paprika, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, black pepper, and salt.
  • Sprinkle each side of chicken pieces with the spice mixture, or you can lightly press each chicken piece into the mixture.
  • Cook chicken in oil, flipping halfway through. (Approximately 3-4 minutes.) Internal temp should reach 165 degrees F.
  • When chicken is fully cooked, remove from pan and set aside.
  • Add butter to the hot pan and cook the onions and mushrooms until the onions become translucent. Add the garlic and cook an additional minute.
  • Add the chicken back to the pan and serve. Enjoy!
