Honey Garlic Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts Chopped into 1 inch cubes.
- 1/2 Cup Cornstarch
- 1 TSP Onion Powder
- 1 TSP Garlic Powder
- 1 TSP Paprika
- 1 TSP Salt
- 1/4 TSP Black Pepper
- 1/4 to 1/2 Cup Avocado or Vegetable Oil For Frying
For Sauce:
- 1 TBSP Butter
- 2 TSP Minced Garlic
- 1/4 Cup Honey
- 2 TBSP Soy Sauce
- 1 TSP Lemon Juice
- 2 TBSP Chicken Broth
- 1 TSP Cornstarch
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium/high heat.
- In a bowl, whisk together the 1/2 cup cornstarch, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the chicken cubes in the cornstarch mixture, covering all sides.
- Fry chicken in oil until internal temp reaches 165 degrees F, about 3 to 4 minutes on one side and then flipping to the opposite side for another 3 to 4 minutes.
- While chicken is frying, combine butter, garlic, honey soy sauce, and lemon juice in a small saucepan over low/medium heat.
- Mix together 1 tsp of cornstarch in 2 TBSP of chicken broth. Add to the butter and honey mixture. Cook until slightly thickened.
- Serve chicken over rice and veggies. Drizzle sauce over top. Enjoy!
