Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts Chopped into 1 inch cubes.
  • 1/2 Cup Cornstarch
  • 1 TSP Onion Powder
  • 1 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 1 TSP Paprika
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1/4 TSP Black Pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 Cup Avocado or Vegetable Oil For Frying

For Sauce:

  • 1 TBSP Butter
  • 2 TSP Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 2 TBSP Soy Sauce
  • 1 TSP Lemon Juice
  • 2 TBSP Chicken Broth
  • 1 TSP Cornstarch

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium/high heat.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the 1/2 cup cornstarch, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat the chicken cubes in the cornstarch mixture, covering all sides.
  • Fry chicken in oil until internal temp reaches 165 degrees F, about 3 to 4 minutes on one side and then flipping to the opposite side for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  • While chicken is frying, combine butter, garlic, honey soy sauce, and lemon juice in a small saucepan over low/medium heat.
  • Mix together 1 tsp of cornstarch in 2 TBSP of chicken broth. Add to the butter and honey mixture. Cook until slightly thickened.
  • Serve chicken over rice and veggies. Drizzle sauce over top. Enjoy!
