Beef Stroganoff (Gluten and Dairy Free!)

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion Diced
  • 1 TSP Minced Garlic
  • 2 1/2 Cups Chicken or Beef Broth
  • 1 TSP Beef Better Than Bouillion or 1 Beef Bouillion Cube
  • 1 TSP Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 TSP Onion Powder
  • 1 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 TSP Dried Thyme
  • 1 1/2 CUP Almond Milk Can use regular milk.
  • 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 1/2 TSP Black Pepper
  • 3 TBSP Arrowroot Powder Can use flour.
  • 3 TBSP Butter Substitute Bacon Grease
  • 12 oz. Gluten Free Pasta

Instructions

  • Cook noodles according to package directions.
  • While noodles are cooking, brown ground beef in a skillet, along with the diced onion and garlic.
  • In a bowl, combine broth, bouillon, worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, milk, salt and pepper.
  • Once the ground beef is thoroughly cooked, drain the grease and set the meat mixture aside in a separate bowl.
  • While skillet is still on heat, melt butter substitute.
  • Add the arrowroot powder and whisk.
  • Now, slowly add the liquid mixture and whisk continuously. The mixture will thicken as it cooks. Only cook until it is the consistency you desire.
  • Once the sauce is done, you can mix in the ground beef, or serve it separately with noodles. Enjoy
